Mother Nature has sent us a north front to kick off the new season. El Norte - as islanders call it - brings a few days of cooler weather and blows down strong from the Gulf of Mexico, making for great kiting off the Country Club beach. She also forces a sweet swell down the channel between Cozumel and the mainland, creating choppy wave tops to play on.
