Ciudad del Carmen, Campeche, Mexico - July 29-31.

This summer a new freestyle competition hit the Mexican kiteboarding scene. Ten kitesurfers took part in the first "Kite Masters" competition, held in Ciudad del Carmen in Campeche on the Gulf of Mexico.

Our own Raul de Lille was one of the judges for the competition, where the standards were flying high. Riders were judged and eliminated during heats that took place over 3 days.

Congrats to Gustavo Rodriquez from Guadalajara who emerged as the winner. Also to Joseph Will from Puerto Morelos and Miguel Manzanilla from Cancun who took second and third places.
